Paul Heaps - Managing Partner

Paul Heaps is a full-time real estate broker, property manager, and investor. Paul purchased his first investment property in 1998 and has been in real estate for over 20 years.

 

Most people recognize Paul as part of the Heaps Team with his wife Becky. Prior to real estate, Paul graduated from the University of Michigan Business School. Following graduation he worked in finance for one of the “Big 4” accounting firms now known as Price Waterhouse Coopers. 

Paul’s financial background and experience doing business valuation work provide a knowledge base not always found in real estate investors.

Mark Dowsett - Managing Partner

Mark is a full-time property manager and co-owner of Real Property Management Instant Equity in Tampa. He graduated from Grand Valley State University and worked in the Grand Rapids area for about 2 years. Ready for a change, Mark picked up and moved to Tampa to open the Real Property Management office.

Although Mark arrived without having any initial business contacts in the area he worked diligently to build the Tampa office. In less than 5 years, he has grown the Tampa location to over 300 rental units under management.

Mark now has an established network of investor clients, contractors, vendors, realtors, and many others necessary to run a successful property investment and management business.

Matt sieber - Managing partner

Matt Sieber lives in St. Joseph, Mi with my wife of 13 years, Kaitlin, and two daughters Lydia and Ellie. After 6 years of being in the builders trade and general contracting world, he became a licensed Realtor in the State of Michigan. 

Matt’s exposure to contracting began in 2009. It provided opportunities to explore Real Estate Investments through house flipping, wholesaling, the Mobile Home Park industry, and SFH buy and hold with management. 

Becoming a licensed Realtor was initially just so he could be his own agent for his investment homes, but it quickly grew to working with friends, family, and a close network of folks. Five years later it has evolved to several $4-5 million dollar sales years.  Then in 2021, he achieved $9 million in sales. By becoming an agent, it gave Matt the opportunity to partner up with Paul Heaps and the rest of the team.
